Flood Advisory Service visits Kendal as part of Rebuilding Our Communities Event

The Flood Advisory Service was in the Mintsfeet and Farcross areas of Kendal on Saturday, 23rd April, helping a group of volunteers visit 900 flood affected properties.

We worked with the community forum, speaking to flood affected residents, offering impartial advice and guidance.

Along with the group of volunteers, we knocked on local’s doors between 10 - 12 and 2 - 4., and also worked with South Lakeland District Council to help residents complete their resilience grant application forms.
