Flood Advisory Service on Beverley FM

The Flood Advisory Service was in Beverley last week, meeting local residents to discuss their flood risk, and informing them about steps they can take to help protect their properties.

Sarah Marriott, Managing Director of the Flood Advisory Service, was interviewed by Beverley FM about how the FAS can help local residents, by reaching out to communities to raise awareness of flood risk and looking at the practical solutions people can take.

Sarah highlighted the importance of using Kitemark certified products to eliminate the ‘rogue trader’ element of the industry; if people are aware of what to look for then they are able to make more informed decisions and protect themselves.
